Having been renovated with the effort of the Blandy family, while keeping its authentic atmosphere and wine ageing facilities, Blandy’s Wine Lodge is an ideal setting for an elegant event.

ARMAZÉM LESTE ROOM
Armazém Leste is an old ageing room, located on the second floor of the Wine Lodge, which looks out onto one of Funchal’s most historical streets. The room is suitable for catered events, business meetings, workshops, exhibitions and other events. Venue hire includes a large external patio for receiving guests and gathering for breaks and cocktails.

FRASQUEIRA ROOM
Known as Madeira’s “Cathedral of Wine”, the Frasqueira Room is where the company’s oldest and most valuable wines are found, some of which date back to the 18th century. This “library” of Vintage Madeira wines will give a unique setting to your event, creating an atmosphere which is incomparable to anywhere else in the world. Venue hire includes a large external patio for receiving guests and gathering for breaks and cocktails.

MAX RÖMER ROOM
This room presents a unique setting with murals, painted by the famous German artist Max Römer, which illustrate the process of making Madeira “From Vine to Wine”. This is the main tasting room at the Wine Lodge that offers a convivial and elegant atmosphere to your reception, gala or other special event. DEMI JOHN ROOM
The Demi John room is one of Blandy’s oldest ageing cellars. Located on the ground floor of the same building as the Armazém Leste, this space is perfect for an elegant candlelit dinner, where you can relax whilst surrounded by some of the company’s rarest and oldest wines.
